SOLD - (please inquire about series of 8 t-shirts) Acrylic/mixed media on canvas. 24"x36" This painting is all about the classics; the basic T-shirt bordered by collaged newsprint. The label is 3 dimensional, with 'Made in Canada' on the bottom layer. In the 1970's, Elle magazine announced that the T-shirt would become a "basic item of clothing that will never go out of fashion because it's already beyond fashion." Well... 40 years later, it's still here.
